Project No. 24-00-C0LA0402-000027 “Production plant modernization at AS "Talsu piensaimnieks"”

In 2024, A/S Talsu piensaimnieks launched a project, within the framework of which it is planned to carry out the modernization of the production plant - the old technologically aging butter churn is planned to be replaced with a new one. The purchase of new equipment will allow to reduce the number of technical defects of the production equipment and the downtime of the equipment, as a result of which it will be possible to increase the volume of production and efficiency. The new equipment will also be more energy efficient.

The project also includes the construction of a container warehouse, which will provide a centralized place for container storage, improving the overall logistics process and efficiency.

The project is co-financed by the European Union. The project is implemented within the framework of the Measure "Investments in tangible assets" of the Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union for the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) for 2023-2027.

The implementation of the project is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Rural Support Service.
